ACADEMY TEAM PROFILES
Wesleyan University '21
ECI is lucky to have Miguel close to home at Wesleyan University where he is majoring in Government, and minoring in Integrated Design Engineering and Applied Sciences. Miguel played defense on the soccer team his freshman year. Additionally, he has been an RA for the past 2.5 years, and is involved in many community service clubs on campus.
Mardochee is very excited to begin his tenure at MCLA, where he is majoring in Sociology and playing on their soccer team. Mardochee graduated with an associated degree in "General Studies" from Central Maine Community College in 2020. ECI is very proud by his work ethic and impressed that he received the highest GPA on the CMCC soccer team in the Fall of 2019.
Middlebury College '22
Charles is thoroughly enjoying his time at Middlebury College where he is majoring in International Politics and Economics and playing for their soccer team. Charles has also been able to take advantage of summer opportunities at Middlebury, such as studying French at the Middlebury Language School and studying business through MiddCore. In his spare time, Charles has even learned how to ski!
Dickinson College '20
Mohamed was a 4 year Varsity soccer player for Dickinson College. He majored in International Business & Management. Over the past 4 summers Mohamed has enjoyed returning to ECS and mentoring the younger students. He also has enjoyed helping organizations update and manage their websites.
Dickinson College '21
Mohamed is studying International Business and Management at Dickinson College. He has also been an impact soccer player for the Red Devils since his freshman year. Mohamed enjoys tutoring younger students in ECI and also was quite motivated by his internship at the Department of Economic Development in New Haven.
Hobart and William Smith '22
Brayan is really thriving at HWS, where he is majoring in Politics. Since his Freshman year, Brayan has worked as a writing tutor on campus. He is also very involved in many clubs on campus including LAD (the Latin American Organization), and the club soccer team.
Kevin, along with Jonnathan, is one of ECI's first students to study Plumbing. It is nice to have Kevin studying locally (especially when he stops by to play soccer with the younger students). We can't wait to witness Kevin's accomplishments.
Jonnathan, along with Kevin, is one of ECI's first students to pursue a technical degree. He is studying plumbing at IMTI, and really flourishing. He is also playing soccer for various amateur soccer teams in CT. Jonnathan is thriving in his apprenticeship and talented in so many ways.
Connecticut College '25
Oury is the baby of ECI's "Generation 2"! Oury is about to start his senior year of High School at Taft where he is taking advantage of every academic opportunity and thriving on the soccer team. Oury is excited to make his college announcement in the coming months.
